Swiss born Patrick Moraz is probably best known in rock music circles as the man who played with two of the world’s biggest rock bands firstly with Yes recording the album Relayer and touring extensively with the band between 1974 and 1976. Following this stint with Yes Patrick would go on to work with another legendary rock band the Moody Blues. Patrick stayed with the band between the years 1978 and 1991 touring the world extensively and contributing to a number of successful albums. Although well known for his virtuosity with electronic keyboards Patrick’s love of the piano is well known. These recordings are taken from a series of concerts performed by Patrick and feature improvised pieces. The music on this disc is the best material drawn from fourteen hours of performance material. Two of the pieces will be familiar to long time fans of Patrick Moraz. "Kaaru" which appeared on the Bruford Moraz release "Flags" and also Patrick’s third album and" The Best Years Of Our Lives" which originally appeared on "The Story Of I." As with the other albums in this series Windows Of Time has been re mastered personally by Patrick Moraz for this release.
