CHRIS THOMPSON is best known for his work with MANFRED MANN’s EARTH BAND between 1974 and 1986. He played on some of their biggest selling albums including The Roaring Silence, Watch, and Angel’s Station. Over the years he has contributed songs and vocals to albums by such artists as THE DOOBIE BROTHERS, TINA TURNER, ELTON JOHN, OZZY OSBOURNE, to name just a few. CHIRIS toured extensively around Europe with MAFRED MANN and the band NIGHT who had two top twenty hits Hot Summer Nights and If You Remember Me. Included on this CD is a live version of their hit Hot Summer Night.
