THE THIRD EAR BAND were an underground favourite in the mid to late sixties playing many shows at the legendary UFO and Middle Earth clubs. This album was recorded in July 1970 in Munich for German television, and is the complete soundtrack of the movie of Abelard & Heloise’s story. The tragic story, a classic in medieval culture was written by ALEXANDER POPE. The soundtrack has been unavailable for many years and will be a welcome addition to the catalogue of one of the UK’s unusual, underrated, and inventive bands.
