A NEW ALBUM BY TONY PATTERSON (ReGENESIS) & BRENDAN EYRE • FEATURING GUEST APPEARANCES BY STEVE HACKETT, NICK MAGNUS, JOHN HACKETT Esoteric Antenna is pleased to announce the release of the excellent new studio album by TONY PATTERSON & BRENDAN EYRE. Tony Patterson is a solo artist/musician and Composer from the North east of England. He is probably best known as singer with top UK Genesis tribute act ReGenesis and recently contributed to the NICK MAGNUS album "n’monix”. Brendan Eyre has been playing keyboards in a variety of bands and released a CD of his own instrumental compositions (Ghost Ships). With vocalist Marc Atkinson he formed Riversea. Their debut album "Out Of An Ancient World" was released in 2012 to great reviews, and Brendan & Marc had the honour of being voted Best Newcomer at the 2012 Classic Rock Society awards. In the closing months of 2012, Tony and Brendan discussed the idea or working on a project together that would reflect their native North-East roots. The album would feature a character returning to the North East after so many years away from the place he loved. Memories of loss, heartache and the abiding beauty of the North East landscape would once again draw him back to the places and people he left behind. The wasteland it had become, the unfinished business and the ghosts he needed to lay to rest that had haunted him for so long. A place he knew he must return to one day. A place called Northlands. "Northlands” features musical contributions from many musicians including STEVE HACKETT, NICK MAGNUS and JOHN HACKETT and this beautifully crafted album is sure to be remembered as one of the outstanding Progressive Rock releases of 2014.
