Young Marble Giants originally formed in 1978. Having achieved local success in their native home of Cardiff, Wales, the band were eventually signed by Rough Trade Records, where they recorded the seminal "Colossal Youth" album. Unfortunately, this was to be the band's only full-length studio release, but it was a stunning legacy. "Live At The Hurrah" features the band performing on consecutive nights at the Hurrah Club, New York, and is the only known footage of the Young Marble Giants in concert.
