Although David Soul was to find international success as an actor, especially in the role of Ken Hutchinson in 'Starsky & hutch', he had originally been a folk singer, performing on television as The Covered Man and wearing a ski mask!

His success as an actor prompted a return to singing and culminated in five Top twenty hits in the UK, including the number one smashes 'Don't Give Up On Us Baby' and 'Silver Lady'.
