MAGIC SLIM: Moved to Chicago in 1955 with friend and mentor, blues great Magic Sam (who nicknamed him Magic Slim). Known for his raspy passionate vocals and sizzling guitar solos, Slim and his band The Teardrops continue to play in the tradition of the classic blues greats, while continuing to innovate, and most of all, have a rocking good time.

This Chicago native picked up the harmonica at age 7, and got hooked on the blues in his early teens because of the corned beef sandwiches on Maxwell Street. Enjoy this Chicago fixture who has developed into an accomplished guitar and harp player, as well as an excellent songwriter.
