Coming out of the Midlands in the mid-seventies Magnum slowly clawed their way to the top over a period of ten years. Initial albums, including their debut Kingdom Of Madness, were released on Don Ardens' Jet Records label and after changes in the band line up Magnum also suffered with label problems leading to their short lived dissolution in 1984. The band returned in 1985 with the album On A Storytellers Night which paved the way for the band singing to the Polydor label and a series of hugely successful albums followed. In 2005 we find Magnum preparing for a British tour.
