"There was a special magic in the air ..." Constanze and Thomas, describing their encounter with a truly remarkable "Lady." They experienced this intense moment on a faraway island with majestic mountains, warm sun and an extinct volcano.... The duo journeyed for four days in winter to the warm south. The idea was to create their entire new album there. "We chose a property with three small buildings, situated on a mountainside, about 300 meters above the sea. One of the buildings was fairly new - perhaps it was built in the last century. The other two buildings were much older and had probably seen a lot of history. We couldn't help feeling that our visit to this place was so that we could listen to and capture the stories it had to tell." Now, you can hear these stories on the new CD by FRIEND `N FELLOW. Twelve stories about time, mysteries and - a unique LADY. "We were especially taken in by the bedroom in the oldest wing of the house we stayed in. It seemed like time had stood still there. Everything about it seemed mysterious: the rocking chair, the washstand pitcher and a large mirror with scarves and hats... It was as if the lady of the house had just gone out briefly for a few centuries and left this room behind for us. She made sure we had good weather and good food. She provided us with intense dreams. She never showed herself or disturbed us at all - just like a true LADY!" The album features twelve gripping new songs and a wonderful version of the Nina Simone classic "My Baby Just Cares for Me." Europe's top vocal-and-guitar duo invites the listener on an exciting and powerful journey through their boundless musical universe.
