B.B. King has been one of the most frequent visitors to Montreux with nearly twenty appearances down the years. Always a vibrant and charismatic live performer, this 1993 concert will surely rank as one of his finest from any venue and captures B.B. King right at the top of his form with a superb backing band and a great set list. It all goes to show that B.B. King is still the "King Of The Blues".

Das "King's Dock" in Liverpool war am 19. Juli 2003 Schauplatz der lang ersehnten und immer wieder erhofften Wiedervereinigung von Eric Clapton und John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers und an John Mayalls 70. Geburtstag gefeiert und eine Benefizveranstaltung für Unicef durchgeführt. Eingeladen waren unter anderem der frühere Bluesbreaker- und Rolling Stones-Gitarrist Mick Taylor, der in sechs der 19 Stücke zu hören ist (Eric Clapton spielt auf acht der 19 Nummern), sowie Posaunenveteran Chris Barber. Für Liebhaber des Blues gibt es wohl kein spektakuläreres Ereignis.
