This is the first solo album from Joe Jonas, who has sold over 8 million records worldwide with the Jonas Brothers. Jonas Brothers fans can expect a whole new sound for Joe's debut solo album Fastlife, which Joe started working on in early 2010 with the intention of combining the sounds and atmospheres of music he loves the most Pop/Dance, Hip-Hop, Techno and House Music. "I wanted to make this album something a club DJ would listen to," says Jonas. After six years writing and recording with his brothers Nick and Kevin, Jonas says that working on an album on his own was "liberatingin a way, but also a challenge, to finally be able to say 100% of what I wanted in a song." He teamed up with hit-making producers Danja (Britney Spears, Madonna, P!nk) and Rob Knox (Leona Lewis, Rihanna), who helped Joe create a sound that reveals his true musical personality. Jonas acknowledges that turning 21 last year had a huge impact on the sound and direction of the album. "It has a lot to do with coming of age," he says. Joe Jonas is currently doing a co-headline clubtour of the US with Jay Sean and will support Britney Spears on her European tour later this year. Joe's latest single, "Just In Love" has also been generating huge buzz online and with media, including Channel 7's Sunrise who did a feature on the new clip. Joe is extremely active via his social networks, where he has over 1.1M fans on Facebook and over 2.5M fans on Twitter.
