The Three Degrees were hugely successful internationally throughout the seventies, particularly in the UK where they enjoyed ten top forty hits including Year Of Decision, Take Good Care Of Yourself and the anthemic ballad When Will I See You Again. They are also the longest running girl group in the world and MAYBE was their debut album in 1970, it put them on the musical map after a couple of years without major success. After later hits on Philadelphia International Records, Roulette put together an album of mainly unreleased material – the result was SO MUCH LOVE, which is reproduced in it’s entirety on the second disc in this deluxe reissue. MAYBE, a cover of the Chantels,, was the Three Degrees first hit reaching R&B #4 and Pop #29. It was sampled by J Dilla in 2006. They achieved further R&B hits with I DO TAKE YOU, YOU’RE THE ONE, THERE’S SO MUCH LOVE ALL AROUND ME and TRADE WINDS. Released in deluxe Super Jewel cases, with 22 bonus tracks, MAYBE is a must for all Soul and Pop fans out there!
