Esoteric Recordings continue with releases on their new Reactive imprint, (dedicated to reissues of classic German rock), with a journey into the catalogue of Eckart Rahn’s legendary Kuckuck label. Kuckuck was responsible for releasing many great albums in Germany in the early 1970s, including the wonderful Aum by synthesiser and ambient musician DEUTER. An equal of contemporaries such as Tangerine Dream and Klaus Schulze, Deuter recorded this, his second album, in 1972 and was more ambient than his first work, brining to mind the style of fellow experimentalists Popol Vuh - A classic and essential work that Esoteric are proud to add to the Reactive label.
