Notes: Philadelphia quartet The Showstoppers burst into the UK charts with their storming ‘Ain’t Nothing But A Houseparty’ on the fledgling Beacon Records label, reaching No.11 All the tracks in this package are the subsequent follow-ups and b-sides that Beacon released during the next two years or so, some of which were produced by Biddu Though they were not hits, the songs have more than stood the test of time and deserve to be reissued (here on CD for the first time) as they are classic big British soul Digitally remastered and slipcased, and with new notes
