Wheels Within Wheels' is the title of the new album by the much missed Irish hero of blues-rock, guitar legend Rory Gallagher. Not only does it represent the realisation of a long-held dream of Rory's to release a record of acoustic folk favourites, it also bathes his musical legacy in an elegant new light. After his untimely death in June 1995, his ambition to release such a record was picked up by his brother Donal Gallagher who has researched through 25 years of material to create this remarkable album. Features contributions from Martin Carthy, Lonnie Donegan, Bela Fleck, Bert Jansch, Ronnie Drew, The Dubliners and Juan Martin. The recordings encompass flamenco, traditional Irish, skiffe and American folk-blues styles. All the material on the album is previously unreleased.
