Produced by Gus Dudgeon with Tony Visconti as musical director, this previously unreleased recording is available for the first time. 'Of A Time' falls between the 1967 recording of "All Our Own Work" by Sandy Denny and the Strawbs, and the first A&M album "Strawbs" released in 1969. It is a mix of pop-orchestral stylings, a concept, UK folk trends of the time, and the modal harmonies and tunings that have come to define Strawbs music over the years.
