Discovered by Mike Varney in his native Massachusetts, Tony MacAlpine’s first venture into the recording was “Edge Of Insanity”, signed to Shrapnel Records in 1986. This instrumental effort is one of the standout works from the neoclassical guitar revolution that was launched in the mid eighties.
