The third album from Baltimore four-piece Animal Collective is comprised of five back-to-back tracks which were recorded in one take. The recording equipment used was also very basic, with just three minidisk players surrounding the band, who were actually playing outside. Other ambient noises were overdubbed onto the album afterwards, but in general the recording process was very simple.
