Crosby, Stills & Nash (CSN) is a folk rock group made up of David Crosby, Stephen Stills and Graham Nash founded in California in 1968. The band is also known as Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young (CSNY) whenever the fourth member, Neil Young joined them. They are noted for their vocal harmonies, and especially for their political activism. All four members of CSNY have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice, though Neil Young's multiple induc-tions were for his work as a solo artist. They have been pioneers in singers/songwriters in California and enabled the careers of notable artists such as Joni Mitchell and The Eagles, both signed to the same label.
