This program documents the careers of a pair of North Carolina musicians, Reverend Gary Davis, and Sonny Terry. A masterful guitarist, Davis eventually found God and turned his back on his blues past and recorded gospel songs. He would often perform with Sonny Terry, a nearly blind harmonica ace.
