The classic TV documentary from 1990 that was hugely instrumental in bringing Runrig to a wider audience in Scotland. This award winning film was the brainchild of Scottish Television Head of Programming, Alistair Moffat. When it was first aired in 1990, at peak time on Scottish television, it attracted a huge and unprecedented viewing audience of one million people. the film was seen at the time as groundbreaking for Gaelic language broadcasting, and went on to win the best Documentary category at the Celtic television awards, later that same year. The film was directed by Graham Strong and filmed on location in North Uist and Glasgow: the band performance footage was taken from the Barrowlands Ballroom, Glasgow.
