Founded in 1967, the Montreux Jazz Festival has established itself as one of the most prestigious annual music events in the world. The extrordinary list of artists who have played there is drawn from accross the musical spectrum and from around the world. Now, with the consent of the festival and the artisits, Eagle Vision is making these concerts available on DVD for the first time.
Earth Wind & Fire were in typically exuberant form when they paid their first visit to the Montreux Jazz festival in 1997. They delivered a sparkling performance featuring a string of classics including Saturday Nite, September, Let's Groove, Fantasy, Devotion, After The Love Is Gone, Shining Star, Can't Hide Love and Boogie Wonderland. As a bonus also included here are seven additional tracks from the band's equally fine return performance in 1998.
