A first time reissue in Europe and US for this classic yet hitherto under the radar funky rock 70’s album. Originally released on MAM in 1971. Demick & Armstrong have a history going back to their time in The Wheels, a mid 60’s Belfast contemporary of Them. Entirely self-penned the album is full of great R&B guitar riffs and rhythms, emboldened with soulful backing vocals from Kay Garner and Sue & Sunny. Bonus tracks are the 1971 non LP MAM single If I Ever Get To You / Girl, and the B-side of a preceding single the duo released via Decca in 1970 - Dreaming. The pair have a good profile from each continuing their busy careers in music. Demick played many sessions, plus in groups such as Bees Make Honey, and currently Paul Lamb’s Kingsnakes. Armstrong through his forming Fox with Kenny Young, and many years with Van Morrison. Both Demick & Armstrong have contributed to this reissue with interviews and archive photos. As both continue to perform, a few live shows are being planned.
